Description of the TK35 turbocharger

Based on the proven design of TK41 turbocompressors, a new series of promising TK35V turbocompressors has been developed with increased turbocharger efficiency and the ability to operate at high Pcs up to a pressure increase Pc = 4.5.

The TK35V-36 turbocharger is designed for supercharging the diesel locomotive generator 18-9DG (diesel locomotive 2TE116K). In terms of its connection dimensions to the diesel engine and its systems, the turbocharger is completely interchangeable with the 6TK12 type turbocharger (6TK12.00.000SPCh) installed on the diesel engine.

The high parameters of the turbocharger were confirmed during bench tests on an 18-9DG diesel generator.

The TK35V-36 turbocompressor is unified with the TK41V-21 series turbocompressors in the main components that affect operational reliability and ease of maintenance. The production of original parts of the flow part is carried out on high-tech equipment from HERMLE and BOEHRINGER (Germany) using modern technologies, which ensures stable quality and reliability.
